Billericay Big Top

Has anyone seen the ridiculous and embarrassing team talk that Tamplin has shared on Twitter? https://twitter.com/glenntamplin/status/895059570464354304

The whole thing is turning into a circus and when he's bored with his toy thing, the big top will burn to the ground. If I was a Billericay supporter I'd be turning my back on the club and him in no time at all. As there is a big difference between someone putting money into a club and running it sensibly, compared to what this loon is doing.

I wonder how high they well get before he realises that despite his money, trying to climb the leagues is harder than you think. Ask Whitehawk and Salford City, just to name two!

What a loud, boorish, foul mouthed idiot, I imagine Pennent, Konchesky and the like have never heard such an awful pre- match tirade. What hope is there for youngsters wanting to support and hoping to play adult football. How can players be encouraged to perform by a man who needs a prepared script to deliver his message??

....and just to prove what a self publicist bell end the BillnRicky supremo is, the 'muriel' has been unveiled; complete with Trumplin in bed with his missus....😱

Oddly enough his spouse looks singularly disinterested 😄‼️

Yes I did see it and the sooner they win the league and take their circus elsewhere, the better!!

I had to laugh at the bit were he said his highest paid player is only on 1k a week and not the 3 or 4K that's being reported. How does he explain Konchesky turning down a 2k a week offer from a league club a couple of weeks ago then haha!

This is a fantastic article and is a 'must read' questioning the source of finance and a few other matters.

‪Absolutely buzzing after hearing that Leatherhead went to Billericay Town tonight and won 3-1 to knock them out of the FA Cup. Especially after Glenn Tamplin keeps mouthing off about getting teams back to their place for replays and spanking them! Take that nice dose of karma, you p*%$!!! A win for non-league!‬!

Money running out already then, or more likely he's just had enough of Tamplin.

If he'd like a pay cut he can come to us!

I don't think he would accept the deepest of pay cuts lol. We need players playing for the shirt and club not for for biggest wage. It's a shame that at our level of football which I've mostly enjoyed for 5 decades that money is and becoming the prime reason for playing local and semi professional football. I'm torn between the professional and semi professional game as to what watch and is there much difference in players motives and attitudes for playing. It seems as long as they get want they want in wages and fees there happy to put on the shirt and perform but then depart when a better offer and deal comes begging. Local semi proffessional football at our level is becoming more unappealing for me and I'm losing the desire to support it though Lowestoft is my club and team life long. Tuff Times the game and we are in financially and what the future holds only time will tell but I don't think it looks that bright more of a mid bleak winter in terms of sustainably for many clubs and us especially.
