Very entertaining game, Brentwood set out there stall and did there job well. Found it funny how there keeper who was a very tall lad, seemed to struggle with anything above waist height, but was so quick to get down on the floor, and pulled off some fantastic saves..
It was with amusement that some of Brentwoods officials   , management team & players agreed that if we had offered them 1 point at 7pm, they would have taken that and got back on there coach and gone home lol  Maybe we should make it a point to ask teams from now on, well you never know  Grin
As for the unhappy supporters, well yes they pay there money so are entitled to there opinions, but agree they should be kept to the confines of there own sad little lives, and not spoken within earshot of our hardworking players.  Lips Sealed
But apart from that Well Done to everyone, yet another awesome gate, with some great support from 99.9% of you..  Smiley

I thought there keeper was man of the match even though we should have been more clinical in front of goal. Another day it would have been 6-2 to us and we would of all been happy but thats football. I thought we played well it just didn't happen for us as you could see them nicking it as the more chances went begging. We still have alot off football to play and two opportunities this week to put things right before the hard slog of 5 away games on the trot. Come on Lowie we are still in the driving seat. Keep going we can do it. Wink

Captain, I don't think you've racked up many miles this season  Cheesy

I'm sure your home to Leiston is around 18 miles or have you moved since last year?

Weird game really and it was there for the taking for both sides - unfortunately it wasn't us  Cry. Hit by a cracking goal to start off with, 25 yards out in the top corner, Reynolds had no chance of getting at it. But a great ,almost instant reply from Danny. Their keeper did make some good saves and really frustrated us, and we recieved the sucker punch with a half-volley from around 25/30 yards out, looping over Reynolds and clipping the underside of the bar on its way in Shocked. Really unlucky tonight, lets hope we can get back to winning ways on Saturday.
Come On You Blues (or whites as it was tonight!)

I hope we get back to winning ways Thursday Night !!!

Whoops! Embarrassed Thanks Stretfordender! With the games coming thick and fast you lose track. Let's hope we do get back to winning ways on Thursday!

i thought we played better last night than we did on saturday at great wakering....but thats football!! as long as we keep the work rate up and keep creating as many chances as last night we'll be alright...both their goals came from great shots and sometimes there's just nothing you can do about that!!!   does anyone know the latest on greg crane?? him limping off didn't look good!!
